Yes, it's difficult to notice the difference, but they are different. Gamepress released an analysis on that.

They did. The ultra box got a lot better, I'm actually considering picking one up.

Upping the amount of raid passes from 8 to 12 is a pretty nice upgrade in my opinion. If you're someone who has to e-mail Niantic frequently to ask for raid pass deletion I can see how this means nothing to you.

I agree about the lucky eggs though, I wish they'd tone them down in favor or incense or star pieces.
