Did the 10-minute lock out window change?
Just now, I was waiting to slot in at a gym with 3 defenders, 3 of them were knocked out earlier.
3 minutes after the last defender was knocked out, an infamous 8-account multi-accounter slotted 3 accounts into the gym, while I was still waiting for the 10-minute window to finish.
I'm 100% sure the last defender was knocked out 3 minutes before she slot in. I'm also 100% sure the window was 10 minutes after the last defender was knocked out, before Gen 3.
I also had a similar experience at the start of Gen 3, when I was fighting a blue gym with a few others. Some blue players managed to slot in just 1 minute after we knocked out a Pokemon.
Has anything changed?

The attacker was a spoofer. I was feeding berries.
By the time I reached the gym, it was almost dead with only 3 demotivated defenders. I quickly GRB'ed them, and waited for 10 minutes to slot in. But she slotted in 3 minutes after, and I clearly saw a Pokemon get knocked out just as I reached the gym.
I think it 10 mins from when the 1st defender gets knocked out, not 10 mins from when the most recent defender gets knocked out.
I was in a gym, saw it being attacked. Did not react in time to save my guy from being kicked out. Looked at the time, feed berries to the other mons in the gym. Waited....Fed....waited....Dropped my guy back in. (only did this because I was close to gold.)
I also did not necessarily depend on a clock. I kept testing if I could drop my guy in by trying to drop him in.
