Defensive Gyarados

Wanted to know if 88.9% Gyarados with 2407 cp, and B/Tw is good for defense since Twister got buffed recently?

My meh Jolteons destroy them. I don't think he has any moveset that really scares any player with a developed roster. He's only important for sitting high enough in a gym for it not to get shaved out

What pokemon isn't this true for? I don't mean Jolteon specifically, but every pokemon, with the exception of Blissey, and maybe Snorlax, is easily countered by a pokemon half of its cp.

Still weak... Even my Magneton can kill him easily...

To give you a real answer, I think twister is significantly better than it was. My Jolteons certainly did not like getting hit by it. I think every gym should have 1 just to get people to use a Jolteon in their lineup...

If you have something better to spend stardust on, do that first, but there is nothing wrong with powering him up and sitting him up high in gyms, especially if you can sit him above a Blissey. People would be really mad to get KO'd by a twister...

Certainly the best defensive charge move for Gyarados. It still doesn't make the mon a good defender though, so it's probably best to just power it up and place it high in a gym.

Twister may be better than it was, but it is still better far Gyarados' worst charge move.

I know gyarados isn't much of a defender but more an attacker. I have one 97,8% but with Dragon Tail and Crunch... I believe Crunch was good against Exeggutor, but because I tested. I made no further testing. So I didnd't powered him up.
