Defender decay rate?
Is it still a thing to leave them just below 3k CP? I was reading that was lowered and it’s no longer viable to stop powering at 2999, just double checking.

I am not aware of any changes done to the decay in recent times. Therefore, decay should still follow an exponential function with a floor of 1% CP_drop/hour:
CP_drop/hour = 1% + 0.3%*exp(MaxCP/700) ,
with MaxCP the original CP of the undecayed defender. The upper limit is 10% drop per hour; this cap comes into effect at 2381 CP (might be inaccurate in the details).
The 3000 limit has been gone for a long time.
