During the dratini community day constant game errors, during mareep community day low spawn rate for the first half.

They did correct the errors and extend them but personally, I would much rather have 3 simple hours rather than a few hours of frustration . . .

You might need to take this up with the God(s) in charge of the movement and rotation of the Earth, and, consequently, time-zones.

I agree. There is no reason why they couldn’t start a community day on Sat in the USA and end with Asia on Sunday. At least we got an extra hour though. I caught 6 shinies, a L30 100%, and a 778 CP Mareep.

I see at least one important reason: now CD occurs on the same date all over the world. If they start in US they have to announce different dates for different regions and it could be confusing and cause some people to miss it.

Also seriously annoying that there wasn't any explanation (I didn't see any?) about eggs having to be started during the event...
Buddy walk distance automatically adjusts, soo...eggs? nope? Okay then... I hope you enjoy my money for those incubators Niantic <3

Didn’t downvote and sorry for you bad luck but somewhat it makes more sense doing it the Way niantic Did it.

5km on 2,9 would be needed to auto hatch, all at the same time. People on 6,5km on a super incubator before the event would complain they got screwed “i should have used a regular incubator why no info?!”

People wanting to use dust stars would need to time the event on a 5 minute margin if all eggs auto hatch

Same with lucky eggs.

As frustrating as it is, this is the first community day I can be a part of. The previous ones all happened when I was on a military base and Pokemon don't spawn there. I finally get to do one and it is a worthless Pokemon and we are in the process of getting a foot and a half of snow.
