Db/dc dragonite
Hi I have a 2347 db/dc dragonite with 71ivs. Worth maxing out? Or should I save up to try and get dt/o ?

If you like fast quick- and charged moves, you got the best dragonite attacking moveset. It is legacy, You will not get it moveset again. For an attacker, moveset counts more than CP, so a perfect moveset dragonite @2800CP will serve you more than a bad moveset dragonite @3100CP.
Yes, imo it is worth maxing out, at least until level 30, so you will have a flexible, universal attacker.
What I've been doing is spending on my DB dragons some when I have no high IV Dratini to target. When I get one I start saving every candy to evolve it. But Dratini are not rare for me and I'm not going much over 30 with any of them. Doing this I have brought 4 Dragons over 3200 and evolved 2 with DT (HB and H).
Yes, even with 71ivs it's still great, I really enjoy using it too; it's very fun. Even though DT/O has a greater dps, that's only one quantitative difference between the two sets (even if you get a perfect iv DT/oO).
As well, I have one and I use it for attacking gyms instead of putting in a high placeholder, which makes max cp less "weighted" in my suggestion to power it up.
I have a 87% db/dc and 93% dt/o (same levels & similar ivs) and I always prefer to use the db/dc; I only provided the ivs to provide more feedback.
I don't know if you need to max it, but at least take it to level 30. I power up my db/dc Dragonite and he is only 62iv. I have him up at 3000 cp and he is great. Not only is dt/o not preferred by all people, you run the risk of NOT getting that moveset...I have 2 95% sw/hb Dragonites :( and I have another high iv one with dc/hb. The RNG gods have not been good to me with Dragonite (I caught my db/dc.) I finally decided to power him up and haven't regretted it.
