A day of gym work

Finally put all my 3xxx CP mons' butts sitting on Gyms, and a 2672 Blissey. it was tough since most gyms here dominated by Mystic team(same as I) Lv10 with a pile of Blisseys, took some time to find those lv7-9, and more time to prestige those pinky fat ladies... Feel good though after all, cant wait to see how long they will last

I hope they last a long time, you deserve to have those gyms with all your hard work. I dare not think about how many spoofers or bots were in those other gyms... its nice to see someone actually work for their gym slots.

a lot I believe, I'm travelling here, near my hotel there is a gym, it was blue lv9, so I prestiged it and put my high CP Dragon on top, the other day my dragon fainted then I looked at that gym, guess what? Its again Lv10 with the same group of people, they shaved me off from the top...

They didn't "shave you off from the top", that's not possible. Gym was taken down and they rebuild it. Happens often here in this town with mostly static blue Lvl 10 gyms; Enemy team takes down a gym, it is reconquered and within hours fills up, if you aren't fast enough it's full.

Yeah, that's what we mean by shave you off the top. And why it requires craftiness

I was pretty sure it was the same group taking down the gym with their second accounts, and rebuilt the gym to lv10, just to take over my top slot

I ever saw they put in 3 Gastly with 45 CP, and bubblestrat to lv10 in no time, Blisseys were one by one filled in, and lastly, they shaved off those Gastly and replace with more blisseys

One day i prestige 5500 point those fat pink lady. It took over half hour.

It's so unfair. No matter which mons I put in gym at my area. It never lasted longer than 15 mins.

Try to prestige alliance than to attack opponents Gym, those mons shall sit high enough with the CP, I wish my Lizard and Dragon have those MSs.

This is like the pinnacle of my gym participation Lol, and now only the gyarados remains.

I've got finals now so I've only got time to attack gyms but I will do a similar run like yours after my exams to just put stuff into gyms. Will power up my gyarados up to level 34 or something.

Gyarados is not a defender. It'll never last

Exactly. What's going to last longer in a gym: a 100% maxed out Blissey with an ideal move set, or a 3174CP Gyarados with Twister that is placed above it? The system might not be ideal, but it is what it is.

Pokemon last as gym defenders because of their context (which gym, and how placed) more than anything else.

And location of the gym, early this year I travelled to nz, and visited a beach in Christchurch, it was a Lv4 gym, most low cp mons, so I just put my vaporeon in it, I didnt anticipant for a 2nd collection, but surprisingly, it waited for months for seeing it fainted back, probably the longest gym record I have since the very beginning.
