CTM mechanism changed?!

My recent CTM usages got me the desired moveset in 2 runs without the terrible cycle thing. Any change in the mechanism? Or pure coincidence!

If there has been a change, which would be warmly welcomed by everyone, then it happened today. Just yesterday I wasted five charge TMs before I decided to stop.

Several other times though I have gotten the charge move I wanted on the first use, so it is probably a bit of a wash in the long run.

Pure luck... I got 3 uses in a row where I only needed to use one CTM to get the charge move I wanted. Then tried to get futuresight on my good espeon and it took 6 CTMs...

I think 6 is the magic number lol. Took 6 to get thunderbolt on Zapdos 6 on poliwrath to get dynamic punch 6 on machamp and 6 on both my non legacy omastar to get hydropump. Was so mad seeing 12 charge disappear so quick trying to get hydropump on both of them lol.
