CP vs IV vs scaling attribute
Hi everyone, can someone please explain:
I've been reading here and there, got confused. When fighting what is better high cp with low stats or low cp with high stats?
Is primary scaling attribute important? For example i have 2 ratticates which favor attack, one is 8-15-14 the other is 15~7~7, so which one will be better?
And similar question with eevee's:
Flareon ATK 246 DEF 204 STA 130
Glaceon ATK 60 DEF 110 STA 130
Does this mean an eevee with 15-10-5 would be good for flareon and 5-10-15 eevee good for glaceon?

only thing that matters is CP, but cp is not a stat in itself, it's a number that summarizes the monsters base stats + IV's x level (roughly) for quick comparison. i wouldn't bother looking at base stats (type and moves matter more) and instead just check a site like this for "best attackers by type" and "best raid counters".
as for IV's, they are bonus stats on top of base stats so only comparable between 2 of the same monsters to let you know which has more potential. the difference between worst and best IV's in real terms isn't huge (but obviously desirable)
