CP Decreasing Question
Someone knows at which CP the defender loses its combat points faster? Or if there is a page which says something about it, recently I powered up a Chansey (defending in my city is highly relevant) and still don’t know if I should keep her at 1200 - 1300 CP or slightly higher

When the gym system first changed, defenders would lose CP 10 times faster if their actual CP was 3000 or higher. When they "fixed" the decay, I heard people say that they just bumped the point down to 2000. At some time though, it was actually fixed. There is no point where decay increases dramatically. It is a steady increase in decay rate as a defender's actual CP increases.
They do decay at different rates.
We found a remote gym, that had stood for 40+ days.
I place a 3k Blissey, a friend placed a 2k Snorlax and someone else placed a CP37 Unown in a gym.
We have run this test a couple of times on this gym, using different defenders.
It took more than 3 days for the CP37 Unown to decay to it's minimum - the Blissey fully decays hours before the Snorlax, but I could not be 100% sure of the time difference as it fully decayed while I was asleep.
There is indeed a vast difference in decay based on starting CP.
EDIT I re-read your post and realised we are basically saying the same thing...I am not sure what I interpreted first time, but having reread it, I can see we are basically giving the same information.
I am working on exact numbers.
I have found a gym that I can hold for at least 5 days before it is taken over...currently at 12 days and counting.
There is a big difference in decay rates based on starting CP...but I am unsure of the exact decay rates for specific CP.
In answer to your Chansey question, it diesn't get high enough CP to warrant not powering it up.
As it does not even reach 1500CP at max, it will still be one of the slowest to decay, and give the best defence for the longest time. It is arguable that a max'd Chansey is indeed the best choice for a defender if you wish it to remain a deterrent for a longer time.
