CP on Abras?
I have 3 hatched Abras. All lvl 20 and all 89% iv.
CP Atk def hp
639 12 14 14
634 13 15 12
632 14 15 11
I thougt high Atk always contributed most to CP but this is opposite.here its HP. Iv calculated on GP.

In most cases yes, atk IV will affect overall CP more. But for glass cannons with already very high atk stats, hp and def IVs will matter more into CP. Think of it like this. You have 100 apples and 200 oranges, then your friend gave you 10 apples and 10 oranges, you get same additional each in number but in proportion you get 10% more apples while only 5% more oranges.
Aaron is using an easier way of phrasing the formula I pasted above. Having a square root on DEF and HP (STA) terms above diminishes the effect they contribute to CP. The greatest increase in CP from a one-point change in IV will result from increasing the lowest of these three terms: (Base ATK + ATK IV), (Base DEF + DEF IV)^.5, and (Base STA + STA IV)^.5
In Alakazam's case stamina still increases CP more than attack despite the relative increase being square rooted, due to both Alakazam's attack stat being very high (so the relative increase from IVs is lower) and it's stamina being very low (making the relative increase from IVs higher)
1 attack IV results in 272/271 = 1.00369004x increase in CP, or about a 0.37% increase.
While 1 stamina IV results in (111/110)^0.5 = 1.00453517x increase in CP, about a 0.45% increase.
Defence has the least impact because Alakazam's is pretty good but defence gets square rooted unlike attack, so 1 IV into defence results in a (195/194)^0.5 = 1.00257401x increase in CP.
If you're wonderng which to evolve, then definitely the 12/14/14. HP is most important on Alakazam for both CP and more importantly, duelling ability.
