Could transferring a legendary affect catch rate?
Has anyone transferred a legendary, and noticed a drop in the catch rate? My rate went basically to 0% and thinking back it was after I transferred a couple low IV ones. I reinstalled the app and now I can catch them again... might be coincidence.

Here is my statistics for Zapdos. I still manage to catch an IV 97.8 few days again so I would think it is juz coincidence. The reason for Articuno having a lower catch rate is becoz it takes few attempts for me to find out the throw method (it's the first legendary released) plus I do not have a gold ice medal. So dun giv up!
It's just your brain trying to find patterns from nothing.
But think about it this way - why would Niantic specifically put effort into altering catch rate based on whether someone has transferred a Pokemon or restarted their game recently or some other arbitrary requirement.
I'm sure a conversation like this never popped up during the game's development: "You know what would be a good idea? Boosting catch rate if someone uninstalls and reinstalls their app, and lowering catch rate if someone transfers low IV Pokemon"
It's almost definitely a coincidence. But I've long thought something like the opposite should have been introduced. I.E. The catch rate for each legendary should be higher (perhaps on par with normal Ultra Ball usage) if you have yet to catch it, and be extremely lowered (current levels) if you have already obtained it. Perhaps I'm thinking too generously, but my personal experience trying to catch Articuno, the final of the four birds I caught, required more successful raid attempts than it took to obtain Moltres, Zapdos, and Lugia combined.
