If I'm not wrong, confusion is on par with dragon breath in terms of Dpt and Ept. Therefore, I'd like to ask which pokemon(s) with confusion got more relevant/useful in what leagues.
It buffed Venomoth and Dustox in Twilight cup. Gardevoir I guess as well but it's still not that good.
Looking at generic Great League, it gives another option to Cresselia, as it can now choose between two good options and makes the unreleased Jirachi even better. Bronzong I guess goes up in viability where previously it was pretty lackluster.
I originally switched to Psycho Cut on Mewtwo (before the PvP rebalance), since even with his high base ATK confusion seemed underwhelming. Psycho Cut wasn't much stronger, but charged faster.
Confusion is now grotesquely powerful on Mewtwo in Master League. Will still get destroyed by Metagross and Tyranitar, but smashes anything without resistance.
A near-maxed Mewtwo w/ Confusion also makes daily training vs AI a breeze. Lead Mewtwo into Candela - you can crush her Infernape in 5 hits.
Calling it now: Gallade. Confusion, Leaf Blade, Close Combat is going to be a powerful combo. Hits pretty much everything for effective damage at least. You're mixing one of the best fast moves in PvP with the absolute best charge move, bar none. (Yes I know it's DPE isn't THE HIGHEST but only costing 35 energy counts for way more than you might think)
