Comparing city vs non-city's

Before reading this is just my opinion. Read it as a super Biased review ?

So I am currently in the countryside due to the annual ceremony of meeting ones girlfriend parents each summer.

As she also wants to spend time to meet some old friends I decided to pogo. The goal was arti and to grind enough dust to max out a hurricane dragonite. And Also to feel the frustration people here are ranting about; Comparing 2,5 mil city vs 15k Town

Although the event, there raids were generous and more or less the same as in cities, the difference is exaggerated. Went to the town square and starten up pogo; 2 Lugias, 1 snorlax and 1 Tyranitar raid near by. Went for to the lugia raid with most time left (55 min) Nobody at the gym. Satt down, waiting for possible players to come But when i checked raids near by this time a Articuno raid was close by with 1h 40 min left.

A 10 min walk later I see a lonesome kid on a bench. Asked if he was playing pogo, If he was up for a raid and if he knew If players were coming. -Yes, yes and yes.

Raiding
raiding is eqal hard than that of large cities. Fewer raida but everybody knows everybody and Its easier to ensemble larger 10+ parties if everbody knows everybody; FB, textning etc.

Gyms; there is a gentlemans agrement among players here; you dont kick out gyms during night time. And everybody knows who is who and nobody wants to be known as a jerk; easy to grind Coins.

There are two cons of the countryside

Balls.
I'm never low on balls usually. Countryside is however not that flush on stops and for the first time I actually went to poke stops because I needed to. Nests.
Only one nest: cyndaquil. This was really a pain in the ass. Can't grind dratinis, machop or anything useful. In larger cities you just check nest atlas and take the subway for 10 mins.

All in all the countryside is a great to pogo. albiet the frustrating part is not raids or gyms but balls and nests.

I also live in a city and am spending some days in the countryside.
There is 1 Gym an 2 stops ( I actually expected less so I am not complaining). Yesterday I drove 40 minutes to the nearest city to try and find a legendary raid and this is the outcome: 1 weezing, 1 magmar. There were ZERO legendary raids and I was there for more than 4 hours (1 tyranitar, 1 lapras, weezing, magmar, croconaw, vape, bayleef, these are the ones I remember). It was a pretty big city with at least 20+ gyms. So now I am here again with my only gym and my 2 pokestops and without my legendary.... :(
So I can understnd the frustration of living in a rural area if you have to drive to the nearest gym dense area only to find a magikarp raid...

So a city dweller visits one country town and then declares that the countryside is a great place to pogo. Seems legit.
