Community day moves

So I've been doing some looking and with Chicorita community day approaching, i thought to dig up some info on frenzy plant. From what I found, it would make Meganium Average in comparison. That kinda got my thinking. What would the other community day moves give for the gen 2 starters? I think i saw a post on blast burn blaziken and I think people were saying it would still be niche, but what about Feralgator? Would that get a community day?

Every other month we will see a Community Day for one starter pokemon. For Gen 1 the order is Bulbusaur -> Charmander -> Squirtle (March, May, July). Now as it moves on to Gen 2 and assuming the same order, we could expect Cyndaquil's CD in November and Totodile's CD in January next year.

As for the performance of these pokemon, you can refer to the previous post "September CD Frenzy Plant announced!".

Meganium wont be good even with frenzy plant, it stats arent workable. However Typhlosion (Blaziken's gen 3) and Feraligatr are going to be powerhouses, with Typhlosion and Charizard having a similar relationship to that of Entei and Moltres, and Feraligatr being a very strong water glass cannon.

Typhlosion and Charizard have identical stats, but Typhlosion is pure fire and lacks Charizard’s flying dual-type. This will make Typhlosion a strong fire attacker among an abundance of strong(er) fire attackers. Everyone is getting loads of Moltres, there’s already Blast Burn Charizard, Entei is the current research reward and we have Heatran and Magmortar coming in gen 4.

Feraligatr will be miles ahead of Blastoise with Hydro Cannon but likely still behind Kyogre and maybe Gyarados.

The gen 3 starters will be top-tier. Sceptile will be the top grass attacker if given Frenzy Plant. Blaziken seems to be better as a Fighting-type (I wish it was given high jump kick instead of Focus Blast :/ ) but Blast Burn will put it in a similar position as Charizard and Typhlosion, only better. Swampert will dominate over its gen 1 and 2 counterparts, but again, there will be legendary options.

At the end of the day everyone is going to play how they see fit, personally I like using mixed teams and I like most of the starter Pokémon. Gotta catch em all, right?

Edit: there are also mega evolutions for all starters except for the gen 2 ones, putting them at a disadvantage whenever that time comes

well mega's are only for all currently released starters aside from gen 2, as only 1 and 3 have megas for the starters, every other gen doesnt. Just wanting to make sure no one gets the wrong idea.

tl;dr version:

Meganium will continue to suck eggs.
Typhlosion will be decent, held back by lack of Fire Spin.
Feraligatr beats Gyarados in DPS, becoming more or less ideal depending on the specific matchup.
