common catch rate change?

Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of the common mons are breaking out of the ball a lot more frequently? I still end up catching them, but it's been taking between 2-3 balls, when it usually was 1, maybe 2 if it had a "high" CP.

In particular, it seems Natu and Spinarak have had the most noticeable change. I'd also list Scyther, but my sample size was only 3.

On the flip side, Murkrow seems easier to catch. Do we know if the base catch rates have changed?

I've been experiencing the same thing for days. Common PKM now usually costs me more than 1 ball to catch each of them. Even with great throw + curved ball + green/yellow inner circle, many PKM just break away on first balls. ;(

Random means anything can happen. Throwing a coin for heads 10 times in a row is unlikely, but just as unlikely as any other specific sequence.

yeah i get that, but it's been about 2 weeks of observation.

I thought maybe it changed when they adjusted the size of the throw rings during the event.

I catch, on average, 125+ mon a day, mostly fodders. I also have noticed the increased breakout rate of fodders. Noticeable and annoying, but not by an intolerable amount.

Some say probability is probability. But pro experience is a better trailing indicator for assessing trends.

Because stardust is the rarest resource in this game, always try to catch all fodders, as they are key to power.

I ASKED THE SAME THING LAST WEEK-ISH. MANY POKEMON ARE MORE DIFFICULT TO CATCH. ESPECIALLY THE EXTREMELY COMMON ONES. I'VE NOTICED AN INCREASE IN POKEMON FLED FOR OVER A MONTH NOW. EVEN WITH MULTIPLE MULTIPLIERS.
