Is clefable good now?

apparently due to the changes in the meta he's become something of a good defender. So i'd recommend investing in him cause he has decent bulk a nice moveset and his counters aren't very common in the meta

Only if you value defenders. That being said, Flareon does a ton of damage and resists fairy.
