Stuff like this happens when the company has little or no contact with the community. Since the very beginning they have shown that they only care about cashing in on us.
The raid pass thing was also lame, and now this?

Whoever had this idea should be momentarily fired.

The whole " gym rework " was a huge BS , even raids , the game will technically be dead soon , now you either participate in raids and have tone of snorlax and t Rex and alike or you don't participate and both roads will soon face this " what is the point "

With the incredibly lame description of this event I'm nearly certain they're going to surprise us with .... Something.

Not quite sure what was going through their minds to get this so wrong. Can only think it was money, the whole feel of the game is so different now. If they don't admit they got it wrong & eat humble pie, I really fear for the games future, & that would be a very big shame indeed.
