Choosing Chansey

Yoooo don't overthink this man. Just throw in whatever you feel like. The only moments stats matter is when you're trying to solo or duo specific raids and it's a time against the clock.

Technically, if you want to waste someones time as much as possible, you want to look into the defenseive and HP statistics. But honestly, I would never bother.

The only time it mattered was during the period right after the Gen2 release when attackers were slower than these days and Blisseys was actually able to defeat attackers in a structural way.

Maybe 1 takes 30 seconds to defeat and the other takes 29. Does it matter?

Never worry about choice between close cps. Whatever you pick click first because the difference is tiny tiny.

HOWEVER, if you want to power one up, I will sometimes choose between a 1500 CP blissey and 800 CP blissey depending on if I want the more annoying (1500) or want slower decay (800)

So a better way to think about this is which you might want to power up. Before thinking about which you might want to throw in.

For Blissey, stamina isn't that important because the base stat is so high. Defense is critical, and both of yours are rocking a 15 Defense. The 15/15/10 looks awesome, but both will be able defenders that will cause less serious players to not bother taking down the gym.

3)feed it 10 berries for stardust and possible candy

It really doesn't make a lot of difference, but two valid reasons for picking are a) maximize ability to waste time, in which case you'd rate def>hp>atk and b) maximize CP for intimidation factor in which case atk>def>hp.

Up to you which one you value, the difference in any attacker's ability to defeat them is tiny.
