Charizard Wing Attack/Dragon Claw

I finally completed the UK Pokedex today - walking Charmander (124K in total) and 1k into the last needed Candy when I hatched a 2K egg and you guessed it - Charmander.

Came with Wing Attack/Dragon Claw, and despite decent IVs I can't see what I'll use it for - okay for Grasses, but I'm not convinced it will have a great advantage over Flareon/Arcanine.

Any niches I'm missing?

I use it against dragonite since steel wing is weak against fire and dragon claw does extra damage against dragon. Other than grass, thats it.

I've evolved 2, both with WA/DC. I kept one and powered it up to level 30 and really enjoy using it against Dragonite and the grasses. I admit to being disappointed at first that my Charizard doesn't have any fire moves. But I consider it 'special' that way. If I need a pure fire attacker, I'd go with my FF/FB Arcanine anyway.

Wait for a wing attack fire blast one. I waited 3 charizards evolutions and its worth it!

Congratulations!
I completed your same pokedex today too! (Caught my first Chansey in wild!).

I was lucky to get Charizard wing+blast on first (and only) evolution. Maybe even DC is useful for dodging efficiency, but I would slowly store candies and not power it up.
