I know this question maybe sound repetitive. But im really enjoying using charizard more... Wing attack is so fast and good that his fireblast is always one hit ko. Maybe a problem to lapras because he flys, but flying type covers 2x grass and you have more variety of defenders to attack. Actually wing attack is faster then firefang, and just a bit less dps... To me he is the best fire.. And harder to obtain then arcanine.
to me the trouble is that pinsir now is a exeg #1 killer.. So dont know exactly when to use fire.. Venusaurs are so rare in gym.. And i like to use machamp over arcanine to kill lapras.. Just because like the super effective and its more challenge
Bite Arcanine is faster than Fire Fang I think...(due to faster energy charging). Generally, I like faster quick moves myself. Dual bar charge moves also have the advantage of never wasting energy accumulation (meaning you're unlikely to perfectly time using a charge move exactly when it's full to use).
