Charizard Ember/ Flamethrower

I caught a lv.21, 1585 cp, 89% IV Charizard today (my first one).
However it has a D rank attacking moveset.
I will wait until after the event before deciding whether to power up.
Does it have any use as a fire attacker?

Imo dont power it up. The event is still going on, you might catch something better. I have an ember/fireblast and i never powered it up. Id rather use my arcanine with fire fang/fire blast. I sometimes use mine just for fun.

Probably not worth powering up, but a decent prestiger against exeggutor as is...
