Charge Move for Entei

I was lucky enough to catch a 100% Entei. Now I'm not sure, which charge move is the best for him. Flamethrower is a 2 bar move but does only 70 damage and Overheat has a longer cooldown and is only 1 bar but does a decent damage of 160.

So, is Flamethrower or Overheat superior in general? Charge TMs are no problem.

If you have enough time to use 3 Overheats, Overheat is clearly better.

If not the difference between them is unclear. Longer battles favor overheat more. Considering Enteis good durability i would probably go for Overheat.

Congrats on your 100%, i have 3 93%'s and a 95% that only has 13 attack. Can't quite find that perfect one which is annoying.

1 Overheat > 2 Flamethrowers in every way

160 Damage > 140 Damage
4.0 Seconds < 4.4 Seconds

FT will beat OH in some situations when you fire 3 FT and only 1 OH

I assume you have more than one Entei, and I'll also assume your other ones have the different movesets.

Go to a gym, bring all of them into battle, even if they each are still at lvl 20. See which one fits your style of battling.
