Caught a level 30 eevee with 90%
Current lineup level 32 98% ZH/FS, level 30 90% C/Psychic, level 20 96% S/Fp umbreon..I can already solo Machamp, Alakazam, Gengar

I have 2 B/C one at level 33 other 31. Also 95 candies and 246 rare candies so I could easily make more B/C if necessary have like 6 at level 20 with 84-91% ivs. Also have a level 27 Houndoom with S/C I could TM to get FP.
I not sure Umbreon attack is strong enough to be viable in raids especially against legendaries but I could be completely wrong.
Save it for another generation. You don't need more Espeons if you can already solo the Pokemon they're strong against, and Umbreon's aren't very useful right now.
Umbreon's low attack stat makes them crap for raiding, even against the types that dark is super effective against, you're better off using a Pokemon with a higher attack stat, because damage is usually the name of the game. If there are enough people that you can use an Umbreon and still win a raid, then you didn't need Umbreon anyway.
People talk about super effectiveness being made more relevant which is true, but it's not that strong. A Dragonite doing neutral DPS to a psychic or ghost Pokemon still does more damage than an Umbreon with SE bonus as an example.
And as for gym defence, that currently isn't important when you only need to hold gyms for a total of 8 hours and 20 minutes per day. If/when gym defence does become more meaningful that's when you should get an Umbreon
