Catching mew2
Introduce: got ex raid pass for 16. January. Ex raid is taking place on my golden gym in park. I have raided on 189 legendary and 95 normal. My lvl is 38. I think I deserve it, atleast more than half of the players who are getting ex raids passes. Btw. its my first one.
My question is simple: Are there any pokemons that have the same way of catching? Like distance from pokeball etc.

It's kind of far back. Comparable to something like Raikou. The catch rate is about 33-34% (1/3) with a gold medal, curveball, and about 50% diameter Great throw on a Golden Razz.
Not catching Mewtwo happens occasionally (3 EX Raids and a group of 6 and in total two Mewtwos have been missed between all of us) but not often. Be patient and time your throws well. The attack animation is a little short and Mewtwo might jump, but no sweat. Much easier to throw at than Kyogre...
The distance felt similar to Groudon.
More importantly, the base catch rate is a lot higher than the other recent legends. At my EX raid, there was one guy that loudly announced he didn't get it, then mumbled that he already had three. He threw all of his balls before I even found a quiet place to sit and focus on my catch. I had 10 or 11 balls, waited to watch the attack and jumping animations a little, and caught it with the third throw.
