Catch mechanics changed back?

Just went out for a walk and caught a handful of Pokémon.... didn't notice a reversion back to the old mechanics. You may just be getting used to it...

I just got back home but didn't experience any difference.

The new one makes it easier to catch those far away flying mons than before. At least you can get the ball there now.

I have no problems with the new mechanic.
For near mons I just have to get ysed to the speed/angle of the throw again - this is not rocket surgery.
For the 'far' mos, we can actually hit them.

I am not sure what issue people have apart from 'oh my, it changed a little bit...'
