Cant get balls

I am spinning lot on stops today put got only revive potion and berrys. I have to take some gym down and prestige over ten times that I can spend all my extra revives and super potions. Normal potions i toss away. Can anyone confirm?

Is this because they want to sell the balls?

This past week I've been getting tons of revives and potions. Been tossing lots and lots of of potions and revives. Just keeping the max versions. Almost at too many of those, too.

Actually, I'm having trouble keeping my potion/revive inventory up.... Getting way more berries than normal here.
