Candy limit for feeding berries per pokemon?

I've been feeding larvitar-ttar for candies and I'm at about 200~ berries fed without getting a candy. Once during this streak I accidently fed a Aggron a berry and got a candy immediately. +I've been feeding berries heavily pretty much since Community Day.

Bad luck er naw?

It's not even bad luck. I don't remember correctly but you get 1 candy for every 150ish candies. You got it in 200 so it's ok.
You just need to keep feeding every useless berry, never stop. Is free dust after all

It's definitely not as bad as 1/150 from my own experience and the TSR study says it's 1/85.

Just bad luck. TSR has done a study on it and didn't find any evidence of a candy limit. I collected my own data for about 10k berries and long streaks of bad luck happened many times.
