# of Candies From Hatch?

What is the range (e.g. 5-35?) or distribution (e.g. every number equally likely?) of candies you get from a hatched egg? I can't seem to find a definitive source.

I need this because I plan on combining this info with hatch probabilities to work out which Pokemon I should be walking to most quickly complete my Gen 2 Dex. (Safe guess: Mareep is likely to be the optimal buddy)

Don't know about all eggs, but I believe that 10k's range from 16-32 candies, could be wrong though

We do know about the range (GP, please put this somewhere on the site, or every time we need to look up in other places).
2k: 5 to 15 Candy, 400-800SD
5k: 10 to 21 Candy, 800-1600SD
10k: 16 to 32 Candy, 1600-3200SD
We also know that candies are to a large extend in proportion to SD amount.
As for the distribution, I cannot find any research about it.
