Can you leave behind an egg?
OK - I may be imagining things.
Spun a pokestop, and decided I didn't want the 2k egg.
Tapped all the bubbles except for the 2k egg.
Then, bingo, I had the 2k egg. Egg storage is now full, which means I can't get a 10k egg from another stop.
I've never tried "refusing" an egg before - can it be done?

No, there's no way to refuse a item from a pokestop, eggs included. The items are added to your inventory as soon as you spin the pokestop. You don't even have to touch the bubbles, just close the pokestop and all the items goes to your inventory automatically.
So... no way to get rid of a egg without walking it and no way to get rid of a item without going to your inventory and deleting it.
Doesnt matter.
Actually tapping the items means nothing and you get all the items regardless.
They could easily remove the option of clickimg each item one by one, from the game completely and it wouldn't impact a thing.
You can just click the X and close the screen down to instantly claim all the items and save time. (you dont even have to wait for the items to slowly apear on your screen). Open, spin, close.
You get a handy recap of all your aquired items on the right of your screen immediately afterwards so you can see if you got an egg or metal coat for example.
Didnt honestly realise people still click all the items one by one this far into release xD
