Can please explain how solo players can participate in raids?

I've read they have private groups and I guess public? So if I show and let's say 15 people are there from another team in a private group, I have to attack the boss solo if no one else joins the "public" group? Does this basically eliminate solo players participating in boss raids? Ty

i think as long as you show up and you have a pass your ok. I think I read somewhere that for raids you don't even have to be in the same team.

I think public groups should be the norm. Someone here suggests it would require at least 5 people to take down a raid boss, I don't think many players can form a private group of 5 on a regular basis

I think this private groups are for mass events, because only 20 players can attack at once

Yeah or if you just want to do it with friends. They said if you want to team up with your friends during a raid, you can share the code with them so they can join you. Otherwise you'll be teamed up with other nearby players.
So in Mass events like the Chicago Fest, that's probably how they'll team everyone up for a raid battle

As you can read, we 'think' no one knows! , no one can know these answers, everyone has to wait...
