Can I evolve 442 mons in 3 hours? Is process OK?
2x XP for Pikachu day, but it's only 3 hours.
Here is my process, which I have never used and is untested by me. I've never done the closeout-pogo trick, and I've never favorited my evolves (but I think it's needed now, since the pokemon list no longer remembers your place after an evolve...)
(Before community day)
1) Favorite all the pokes you want to evolve.
2) Sort your list by favorites.
(On community day)
1) Drop lucky egg, set independent timer for 30 minutes
2) Select Pokemon to evolve.
3) Unfavorite pokemon, so it doesn't screw up the list the next time you go in.
4) Click Evolve and Yes.
5) Close Pogo (using Original Google Pixel XL, not pixel 2)
6) Re-open Pogo
7) Check timer. If lucky egg is up, go to step 1. If lucky egg isn't up, go to step 2.
Repeat until all mons are evolved or community day is over, whichever comes first.
Last step - whine because I didn't get a Surf Pikachu. Or don't.
Are there any tricks to speeding up the close/relaunch time on my Android phone?

Have you tested how fast your app starts? I assume Pixel XL starts it fast enough that the restart trick works to your advantage, but mass evolving can still be done in other ways.
Since I want to catch with pogo plus while evolving, I can't do restarting, so I'll just search "evolve&13,16,19..." and it won't matter how I sort, I'll only get evolvable fodder mons. Doesn't matter that it resets to the top either because that's where I'll evolve from anyway.
As far as 442 mons, you will probably run out before the bonus ends if your restarts are decently fast.
