Bubblestrat Still Feasible?
So, I haven't tried the Bubble strategy yet myself but had started collecting level 1-2 mons over the last month or so before they announced the rework.
I figure with the removal of Prestige, the Bubblestrat is not longer feasible. The only likelihood I can foresee is that there may be a relation to CP Level and Motivation, and Difference in CP linked to Loss of Motivation.
My other thought on this is that higher CP mons will have larger Motivation pools, but might loose that motivation faster if a lower CP defeats it.
I'm tempted to continue dumping any mons below level 20 and forego this strategy as it doesn't seem likely that this sort of gameplay will be possible still.

As there is no training of the gyms, then there will be no Bubblestrat.
As for the question of discarding mons...I would wait a few more days before making any decisions - at the moment we have a basic idea of how things will work, but no doubt there is detail we are yet to be told about, so keep your options open.
seems new system is highest CP 'mons only, no bubblestrat or prestiging with teams of a certain level.
darn shame as i had just filled out counters to all top 'mons in 1500 and 1200cp ranges for prestige and just started on collecting very low cp mons fith stab moves or double weaknesses for bubblestrat. looks like those are going in the bin !
