Bubblestrat still alive?

Can anyone 100% confirm, that it is still possible to make use of the Bubblestrat mechanics? Of course not with Bubble itself, but how about Diglet + Voltswitch-Electrode/Raichu/Jolteon or Gasthly + Confusion-Abra?

Yes it is. I used with a gastly astonish defender and a confusion kadabra atacker and get 1000 prestige. Look on reddit that they have a list of new bubblestrat combinations.

Bur are you sure, that Kadabra is the attacker and not the other way around?
