Bubblestrat instant death in the new gym system?

I use bubblestrat by putting in my 21 CP Krabby with bubble and fight using my 10 CP paras. This is not an optimized combination since it only works the first time (I don't know why, but subsequent times my Paras get killed first).

Anyway, in the new gym system I choose 5 other CP 10 pokemons for training. When my Paras is killed, Krabby still has one attack worth of health. Problem is when my Paras is killed, next pokemon appears and get killed instantly. Even if the first buffered attack from my attacking pokemon doesn't do any damage, the second attack should kill Krabby. But up to 4 of my pokemons appears and are instantly killed before I can take out Krabby. Krabby shouldn't even have time to attack since his bubble is slow.

So what happens here? Are multiple attacks buffered and none of the do damage? Still that shouldn't lead to instant death because Krabby hasn't even attacked. Anyone else experienced the same problem or can explain what happens?

What they mean is that the highest CP of your 6 Pokémon you bring in to training decides the amount of prestige. If you train against 100cp Pokémon with 50cp, 50cp, 50cp, 50cp, 50cp and 99cp, you are only going to get 500 prestige no matter which Pokémon you use to train the gym. For bubblestrat you need to have 6x 10cp Pokémon because if even one is higher than the one you are training against it ruins the whole prestige gain.

Yeap, the prestige formula is still unchanged, the change is that they take into account your highest CP among those 6 pokemons.
Now I usually use two pokemons around half of the defender's CP, other 4 will be pidges or weedles and gain 800-900 prestige per round.
1000 prestige from bubblestrat is sweet, but it's hard too. You must have the right set, deploy your bubble pokemon in first, attack immediately and run away before the 2nd defender's attack.
Now it's easier to train a friendly gym then deploy your pokemon in when the slot is opened. If your defender has the highest CP, it will be gym leader and the chance of kicking out is lower than a bubble pokemon.
It's just a bit costly in term of potions and revives.

'deploy your bubble pokemon in first, attack immediately and run away before the 2nd defender's attack...'

Can I just choose 6 10cp pokemons against a 20cp bubble pokemon to get 1000 prestige?

It's quite commom with me... sometimes when my pokemon die, the next one also dies instantly, 1 second after the battle start and when it does not die, it gets like, 90% hp down... I get very upset... Bugs and Thugs.
