Hi,

I've been reading about bubblestrat in the guides here but i don't quite understand how to know if your pokemon is level 1.5 like the guide suggests or how to get it to level 1.5 or 2.

I was able to find a level 1 Horsea with bubble that is 10 CP. If i level it up once will it go to level 1.5? Are power ups by .5 or something?

I also have two Squirtles with bubble, level 1 with 11 CP. How many times should i level up each of my Pokemon?

For attacking so far i only have a level 1 cp 10 Pikachu with 0 attack IV. Would this work?

Thanks in advance for the help. Sorry this was so lob.

Yes, every power up increases the Pokémon's level by 0,5. I wouldn't be able to tell if your combination works without testing it. Someone on reddit created a tool where you would input your Pokémon's data for bubblestrat and it would tell you if it would work. However, it should be pretty easy to test it out on a gym. Basically what you want is your attacking Pokémon to have half the CP of the defender to get the maximum prestige (1000). This page https://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/bubblestrat-possibilities should also give a rough idea what you're looking for in each match-up.
