Breloom Double Move

Is it worth spending some candies and powder on it?

With the best set Grass Know / Dynamic Punch it could be a super effective attacker against 7 types...

What do you think?

If you have the Candies and the Stardust, then yes - this would be a worthwhile investment. And if you have FTM's to spare (like I do), you can flip between the Fast Moves pretty easily to maximize the effectiveness.

If you think you need a raid attacker that can flip between being a good DPS fighting and a good DPS grass pokemon then yes.
Or if you already have 6 Machamps and 6 good grass at high level, then probably not worth it.

For PvP purposes I wouldn't recommend it. Breloom hits like a truck but is very glassy, so it'll lose most neutral TDO matches. As a specialist in great league to counter mudboys, it's better off with Seed Bomb than Grass Knot.

why do you say seed bomb is better in pvp? It costs a little less energy, but it also does much less damage as far as I can see. 40 energy for 55 damage vs 50 energy for 90 damage. Unless I'm missing something?

-Edit-
read more into it, and I was missing something. You're right. Seed bomb is already strong enough to threaten dangerous ground and/or water types, and the extra 10 energy cost means you lose out on getting a charge move in before they can. Counter/seed bomb breloom beats Whiscash consistently; Counter/grass knot or bullet seed/grass knot breloom does not.

Being a top-tier PvE attacker in both types makes it worthwhile in my opinion. I'll likely do this for my best Grass Knot bois at the end of the event.
