Breakthrough Moltres run?

Last week I tossed about 15 balls at Moltres and it never ran. Has anyone had a breakthrough Moltres run from them?

Breakthrough Moltres along with Special Mew have a 0% flee rate.

No, it doesn't run. That's why I pinap and use red ball to show respect :)

I got (2) Moltres and she/he did not ran away +pinaps...

All research reward pokemon will not run. And if you run, you can still return to them until you eventually catch them. I had a research Ninetales that I was using for a day and a half for research like "3 great throws in a row" before I finally caught it.

I kept running from my Moltres because I had no more Pinap Berries from using them on Magikarps plus some Dratinis that would pop up every so often. Plus I had just done my Mew quest and the task to use 50 berries depleted them too.

I would run when I ran out and go spin a stop til I would get another Pinap. It broke out a few times so I kept running away til finally I caught it with the Pinap.

I actually had a research encounter pinsir appear to run from me earlier during the weather outage ... might have been due to the weather glitch but sure enough, it ran first ball.

Checking journal and inventory though, it actually ended up in my storage.

Not only do they not run, but I am starting to wonder if their catch rate has been improved as well. I have caught the last two on the first throw with a pinap + ultra ball, which theoretically should have a lower catch rate than a golden razz + premier ball.
