Blissey & Snorlax Counters

I dislike using RS after the last move adjustment, it charges energy unusually slow. Machamp is defintely superior to Ursaring against Pound Blisseys.

I don't have a fighting moves Machamp but I think it does pretty well. Pokebattler says that two of the same level Machamp and Blissey (with ZH/DG) will result in a Machamp win (All Specials dodge pro) but it gets dicey if a special is missed.

Ursaring I have used and my experience is about what the sim says. If you power it up higher than most Blisseys you see you can win. On even ground it is a very close fight though and will likely result in a loss for Ursaring. The better you dodge the quick moves the better both of these results will be. Then how much time you have comes into pay though (not that either will time out; they won't)

That isn't that big of a deal though. Until you get a Tyranitar with a good offensive moveset or a Machamp with C/DP nothing really shines. I've also used an FS/OH Flareon and he is fragile. In fact he seems to be on par with the Machamp you already have as far as total health left after the fight per Pokebattler.

Way back when I used a RS/EQ Rhydon against Blissey and he did pretty good. It was all that I had at the time.

FS/OH Flareon is good, but hard to dodge with. One of the speediest options to take down Blissey. I'll give a 7.5/10

RS/SE Rhydon is painfully slow. Low DPS move, no stab (even considering SE) and stone edge is not a strong charge move......but you can usually beat down more of % of a blissey than a FS/OH Flareon can, but it is just so much slower. Probably a 6.5 or 7 out of 10.

I use Alakazam with Psycho Cut/Focus Blast...

Focus Blast is SE into Blissey & Snorlax and does more damage than STAB Future Sight...

Also, you can dodge Zen Headbutt and take just 1 damage...

Randomly evolve high level Abras if they are common for you.

Psycho Cut is better than Confusion since it generates energy faster (I have both, but no PC/FS).

With the dodge bug, I tend to actually not use Machamp so much now (I have a C/CC one) and use Eggs (Conf/SoB) since Eggs can pretty much solo up to 3000CP Blisseys.

I have level 30+ Ursaring CCC, Flareon FSOH and also Rhydon RSSE.

Ursaring and Flareon can do damage fast . Though need to dodge carefully with Flareon since weak HP. But good for suicide attack squad .

Rhydons , likes other said , is slowly and risk timeouts with Blissey . So it's not my first choice anymore since it's tedious and riskier.

Diff topic would be cool to see actually video battle comparison of Ursaring CCC vs C HyperBeam vs lax and Blissey .
