Blissey or Lugia as potion efficient generalist attacker

The only place i see a Lugia on the current meta is as a blissey on attack, question is, is it worth?
By stats it has superior attack for a giant bulk even if more defence based in the end its a max potion anyway.

By defense typing my guess its way worse normal only gets SE from fighting and its an unusual type defending.

On attack blissey will have pound resisted by rock steel and ghost and then eiher HB or DG the second will half solve the TTar problem and have the flexibility of a 2 bar by losing around 10% of total damage

Lugia i have doubts with fast attack. The difference between E and DT is almost nonexistant in final output and the second has a way better coverage TTar problem again. For the charge i guess the 2 bars of sky attack would be the choose

The question is the same is it worth? Will it improve the boredom of the blissey speed having a way better performance than the main attack generalist dragonite?

I used Blisseys quite a bit, and I have tried out my dt/fs Lugia a bit. Lugia is certainly more bareable than Blissey and fs with STAB does a nice chunk of damage. It is pretty comparable to my lick/bs Snorlax.

However, with the overall weakness of gyms Dragonite just makes more sense.

Edit: As far as being potion efficient, it doesn't really matter. If you happen to face a fully motivated pokemon, they only have the high cp for the first fight. I don't even use potions on my gym attackers, only revives. Dragonites, Tyranitar, and Vaporeon at half health are more than good enough.

If you downvoted, you could say why. On my days off I take down 20 gyms, I think I know what I'm talking about.

Maxed a 98iv Lugia for gym attacking (and as a trophy), no regrets. Saving tons of potions and sky attack is fun to play with. 95iv or below i would have not invested. Cant really answer your question but for me it was worth it.

Once I get to probably 400+ rare candies, I'll start powering up to Level 30 some legendaries too...Up to 160+ rare candies now and until Mewtwo comes out (safest bet), I'm going to put some in my 91% Lugia since it's IVs are at least over 90%...

Gyms are just too easy to build any mon for gym attack. I am also tempted to max out my Blisseys just to annoy and troll people in the area since I don't have any good candidates to use stardust on...

Blissey do rack up wins against low level players. They are only worth putting in high traffic gyms tho.

Yeah, I see my Blisseys get 10+ wins practically everytime she's in a gym when she's not taken out by the usual old high level folks...

It shuts down all the "casual" (< Level 30 raid players) when she's first since they can't get more time from beating the earlier mons...

I'm tempted to also use a Charge TM on her to turn her into Dazzling Gream (Psychic now) since I have more Charge TMs than Fast and no real mon I want to use it on (lower IVs)...

Will definitely do it if I get over 10 TMs, but at 7 Charge right now.
