Blissey Moveset

Hello everyone i've a Blissey with Zen Headbutt and Dazzling Gleam and i was wondering if the lack of Pound makes it worth to be powered up or instead it would be better trying to get a new one. Please help me i've so much stardust and it's really tempting!!

LOL you got the best blissey moveset man. ZH Counters Fighting type and has better DPS as a defender mon, DG Counters Dragon + Fighting type and also DG is a 2 bar move with 100 damage each which is insane for a defense move.

So here's my blissey rating on defense move
ZH/DG ->A
P/DG ->A
P/HB->A (but leaning to B because lack of advantages)
ZH/HB->B
ZH/P->B
P/Psychic-> C

I hope you powered up your blissey rn.

ZH/HB is better than P/HB. Basically those combinations are pretty much the same against all attackers expect against fighters where ZH > Pound

My conclusions from several simulated battles
https://pokeassistant.com/battlesimulator
are

ZH/DG -> A
P/DG -> B
ZH/H -> B
P / H -> C
ZH/P -> C
P / P -> D

No because the STAB in this game worth equals as the super effective move, therefore hitting with a stab move deals equal damage as if it would hit super effectively. and then even if i have perfect coverage if the opponent is a trained one it would easy dodge the secondary attack

That's great and all but you asked for our opinions and we've given them. This is the best moveset.

It is not only "opinons" but backed up by simulation results. The STAB bonus is included, and ZH is STILL better against all expect Psycho mons that resist ZH.
(in other words: ZH is good enough to make up for ONE bonus (namely STAB) but not good enough to make up for two (STAB + type disadvantage)

Best move set for Blissey is debatable between P+DG & ZH+DG

You cannot assume a fighting type will always attack into Blissey. Machamp would be pretty much the only viable fighting type right now, and they are no where near as common as say Vaporeon, Rhydon, etc.

I am lvl 34 and have 3 Machamp - 1@ lvl 29 BP+SM 1@ 27 BP+SE 1@ 20 KC+SM so am waiting for another decent machop to evolve and see if I get a better fighting move set to deal with Normal typing better.

However...

...I attack into most Blissey with Vaporeon with equal/similar lvl using WG+HP or Rhydon with RS+EQ/SE - For those stubborn higher CP Blissey I have to crack out my lvl 34 Executor with CF/SB. These all work just fine without the need for a high tier fighting attacker.

I think the most important thing is you got DG which is awesome. You really can't complain with either P or ZH + DG

This is a good reply. I think ZH has a higher defensive DPS even without STAB which is why folks say it is better overall and the type protection is just a bonus.

Exactly. Pound is a great attacking move because of its speed, but not strong enough to great on defence, even with STAB. So unless you're using Blissey to attack (!) it's ZH all the way, so it seems.
