Best Quick Moves?

The best quick moves for me were chosen with this formula:
DPS*EPS - Damage per second x Energy gained per second.

There are clearly 6 top moves:
Above all others: Bug Bite DPS*EPS=172.87

Next 5 all equal with 168 of DPS*EPS:
Bite
Dragon Breath
Scratch
Water Gun
Pound.

The next move would be Psycho Cut with 145.08 and next Metal Claw with 141.1, both clearly bellow the others.

In your opinion, which are the best quick moves?
How do you choose them?

12.28 x 12.28 is 151, not 145.

If you're using pokemon that are weak so you need to be efficient with HP, you have to dodge which DPS x EPS doesn't account for, and EPS is kind of useless because you won't be using charge moves when they're available, you'll be using them after your opponent uses theirs.

If you're using a pokemon that is so far above the defender that it's attacking that you're able to just spam quick move > charge move ad infinitum without needing to dodge, then it doesn't really matter what moves you use.

Opponents attack slow enough that even the lowest EPS moves on an attacker will probably gain energy faster than a defender with the best D_EPS move.

First of all I like your effort for trying to find out some calculation factors.
But it isn't that easy to discripe the best quick moves because there are many other factors that take influence. Wether it's defending, attacking, dodging, STAB or weaknesses of the defending pokemon.
I don't even know how to define "the best quick move"

I like fighting with dragonbreath / bite (vs. psycho) / water gun .... and i guess all the "fast" quick attacks, because it simplifies dodging.

I dont think water gun should be included that list. IMO its the top tier in the next bracket. Its a little slower then bite and DB. I can get 5-6 bites or DB in where I can only do 3-5 water guns. Pound could be in a tier by itself just below bug bite and above bite/DB.
