Best phone for PoGo/Pogo Plus

My phone just died.

I'm considering buying another used phone, in the sub-$350 range. Considering the following models, and I'm asking for input on whether they work well with the PoGo Plus. In the past, connections with Pogo+ have always been spotty.

My considerations:
Samsung Galaxy Note 5
Google Pixel (just pixel, not two or plus)
iPhone 6+
iPhone 6S
Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge/Edge+

You will regret buying any of the listed phones for pogo.

My recommendation is S8+, not S8 (overheats), the S8+. Costs more, but you will pogo in dreams.

Not getting that for $350 lol,

S8+ is good when you're in the game but the ram management is terrible so it often restarts if you switch over to texting or facebook. But other than that yes I can vouch for its performance for catching, battling etc, it's great.

My 6S+ has zero issues. I don’t know about the others

6+ is not recommended. 1 gb ram sucks. It crashed every so often. Se works great for me now.

This is not on your list but my wife and I both have Note 5 we bought on Ebay for around 250 and we both play/raid daily with 0 issues these are our normal phones with everything on them.FB,twitter etc.

I can't complain with my Huawei P9+

Go Plus connection is above average from what I've seen/heard from users of other phones so far. The game never closed while running in the back and the connection is pretty solid, I only have problems, if my bag runs full and ignore those error buzzes - but emptying the bag solves the problem right away, so...

Can't tell about the price, though

I just got an LG V20. V30 just came out and brought the v20 down to about $380. It has a removable battery and i swapped it out for a double capacity battery.

It seems to be running both the game and go plus pretty good.
