Best moveset for Espeon

Just looking at the two moves looks like Confusion is better for both offense and defense
Edit: The difference is slight btw, ZH is still good, don't feel bad :D

If you check the stats for both quickmoves on Espeon on here, you will see that not only does Confusion do more DPS, but it also has slightly higher EPS than Zen Headbutt. The only thing going in ZH's favor is the shorter cooldown which makes it easier to dodge. And that's it.

Back before the update, ZH actually had higher DPS than Confusion which was why it was preferred. Sadly, they released Extrasensory which is everything ZH should have been, with the same DPS as ZH, but more than 20% higher EPS.

TLDR; Confusion is a better move overall, but ZH allows for easier dodging.

Confusion has better stats but you can only get one in before dodging whereas you can often get in two ZHs before the next opponent attack. C is clearly better if spamming though.

I got confusion + futuresight for myself and was also curious how it performs vs headbutt

everything is different now. its basically old fast moves and new charge moves - although DPS and EPS is more balanced now - where a move might have high DPS but medium to low EPS or vice versa.

confusion does massive damage now and i'd still consider it the go to on def, but its also now useful on offense
