Best Dragonite so far worth it?

Playing from the beginning, after a year and a half, 6 thousand catches and 878 eggs, the best Dragonite I have so far is one with 84% IV, 2012 CP, 15a 11d 12hp. Given that so far there is no news about dragons as raid bosses in the near future, do you think it is worth upgrading this at least until the LV30? I have 100 candies and stardust would not be a problem. Do you consider it worth it? Thanks in advance.
