Best Bug Type Attacker

Who is the best bug type attacker? I caught a 93% Heracross today with double bug moves (I live in South Florida) but am hesitant to power him up. I'm willing to spend dust on at least one good bug attacker, as i do not have one. My other options would be Pinsir or Scizor with double bug moves.

Assuming you are going to be using your Bug-type attacker against Psychic Pokemon, Scizor is the best choice. Heracross, being Fighting-type, is a distinctly poor attacker into Psychic Pokemon.

1.Scizor(PC/XS)

2.Heracross(SB/MH)

3.Pinsir(BB/XS)

Pinsir is the best bug type attacker. He has a slightly higher attack stat than heracross as well as his bug type moveset is better.

Bug bite x scissor is faster than struggle bug megahorn so you can imagine there is a higher dps.

Also struggle bug is slow and generates less dps even after stab.

Bug bite has higher dps and is quick so Pinsir is the better bet in my opinion but not by much just based on calculations

Scizor > Pinsir > Scyther > Heracross
To which Scizors fury cutter has higher eps than bug bite, which allows more XS usage, at the same DPS as Pinsir. Also Scizor resists a lot more, and only weak (1.96) to fire, but so is Pinsir (1.4), but Pinsir is neutral and/or weak to more.

Scyther would take out Heracross in battle.
