Best attacker/defender Snorlax ZH/GB or Dragonite DT/H

After 35 levels my two best mons are these:

Snorlax 75.6% HP-10 ATK-15 DEF-9 ZH/HB Level 34 CP2999

Dragonite 91.1% HP-13 ATK-14 DEF-14 DT/H Level 30.5 CP3061

I have been walking and babying that Snorlax off and on for months. I also have a similar-stat L/BS Snorlax, but with candy at a premium I put it into the ZH/HB snorlax as it seemed more versatile.

In any case, I know the Dragonite has substantially less HP than Snorlax. This Dragonite is my 3rd Dragonoite ever, but I got lucky with 4 Dratini out of the past few 10K eggs. So this guy happened in a hurry. My last two Dragonites were SW/HB and SW/DC so it was nice to get a fairly premium moveset in DT/H. The 91.1% IV wasn't too shabby either.

My question is, if I power that Dragonite up a bit more through walking, will be be a better defender than the Snrolax even though Snorlax has more HP?

I also lucked out and got a Tryantiar, but it's a cruddy movesel (Bite/Fireblast) and his typing almost makes him seem overrated to me to begin with. Glad to cross Tryanitar off the Pokedex, but I think I'll be investing my km into the Dragonite.

Snorlax is for sure the superior defender, but if gym placement is an issue I'd roll w/ Nite. Both are awesome attackers too so they're versatile enough.
