Beat a 19883 Jolteon with a rival player.

My brother and I took down a Jolteon today - both Level 32. Had about 10 seconds left on the timer. I got a charged TM and some candies.

Not a 100% fan of the new update but I already made two friends raiding in town. That's a huge plus of the raid system :)

I got this guy from a raid I was so excited!! I can't wait to power him up

Had a similar experience this evening. Out for a walk in my local poke park with 3 gyms just as a tier 3 Vaporeon raid started. Called my husband, but he and the kids didn't want to join me. But I didn't want to let my raid pass go to waste so I decided to try it solo. I'm level 35 and have some decent mon. Did some research and lined up my counters.

I got so close the first round, but had wasted time swapping out d'nite for exeggutor - SB did a lot of damage. So I decided to try again, this time with all exeggutor.

To my surprise, two Valor dudes (one whose name I recognized, having kicked him out of the gym earlier today) joined me in the lobby and we fought it together. No problem at all, we defeated it easily and I got my first TM out of it. This was the first time I encountered local players, and it was a good experience.

P.S. I wonder if they were impressed I tried it solo (one was level 31, the other 28)?
