Not at all. I pretty much only play when I am going somewhere (Bus/cycling/walking) with small detours at the most. Level 30 atm, but have been playing since the release in that casual way.

i started playing by adding it to my dog walking route after work. true my route has been modified to be more GO efficient, its been too hot for long walks and im not feeling any stress to compensate. i say not really addicted

Seriously addicted. Between actually playing, sorting and organizing Pokémon, reading this site, etc, it is at least 4 hours/day and usually more.

I'm afraid I suspect so. It's changed where I walk and now consumes time like looking at this forum, looking up IV's etc. Level 33, played since the beginning but for first 5 months had a phone that wasn't really pogo able. So bought a new phone lol

Lol, I'm not really sure, actually. Level 33, play about an hour a day. At most, I was super competitive in the gym scene, but I'm not /too/ concerned about ivs/leveling up/reading the articles on here, so it's hard to say. Maybe quite?

I spend at least 3 hours a day on walking (~10 km) & playing PoGo. It also takes me about an hour in my free time to read useful info on this page so I can say that I'm quite addicted to PoGo. Already lost 4kg of excess fat since August 2016. :)

I used to be seriously addicted during the first 4 months. I even biked from 12 midnight to 5am several times!!! And still went to work.

Not so much now. Some days, I play to just keep my streak going. Too busy now with birth of twins.

Twins! They'll get you! We just had twins in February. Puts a serious damper on my ability to play!

I'm pretty addicted, but I'm also in between jobs, and confident that when I find something that occupies more of my time I will play less PoGo haha.

I am addicted but I only go out to "just" play on weekends, around 2-3h or aprox 8-10km. The rest of the days I play on my way to work or back home, but I have to admit I have made a slightly longer route to walk more so I can get 5km per day at least, around 1h-1h30.

I don't feel it is a waste of time at all because I have to go to work anyways so there is that, and the weekends are for me, why not spend the time that a movie lasts playing and walking on the street? I have a lot of time for other things even playing 2-3h on weekends and it is a more healthier hobby for sure.

I play between 4 and 5 hours a day but am not the least bit addicted to it.

Full time job as a platoon commander, father of a one year old. Been playing hard every opportunity I have. Do a lot more cardio instead of strenght exercises and insist I always take the boy for long strolls. The perfectionist in me is what lures me to work for the high tier ones and the aspect of combining it with physical stamina is what keeps me playing. I absolutely see all the flaws in the game and really do not understand why they dont change several of the mechanics of the game, the useless shit in eggs and the unfairness of being a rural player are the worst for me.

Its also freaking nostalgic, look forward to the aspect of using my hard earned mons for something more than to wank one out stuck in gyms :)

How will I het all the candies to max Muk and Ampharos?
How and when will I get the Depot Agent Steel Medal?

Yes, I am. I think I'm very addicted. Reminds me of my first years at university when I played a lot of PC games.

Quite addicted. It was worse a few years ago when I played Need for Speed World where game play was far more immersive, socially interactive, demanding on skills, and rewarding when you get good at it.

Pokémon GO is briefly rewarding when you finally get a nice species of high IV, level and move set - only to see it wiped out of a gym 15 minutes after you placed it.

My team leader, Blanche, was available for an analysis:

"Your addiction to Pokemon GO is a wonder!

It is matched equally by an addiction to the GP Q&A board.

It is matched equally by a lack of addiction to housework.

Your addiction exceeds my calculations! It's incredible.

This ends my analysis."

Sounds pretty hopeless....

Well, of all the addictions in life, this is probably one of the better ones, involving exercise, stress relief and fun. (Never mind lack of sleep, risk of injury by tripping over or running into obstacles staring at your phone, stressing over your inability to go after a Snorlax on the sightings because your boss thinks work is more important....)

Kinda addicted.

I don't go out just to play much anymore, but if I'm out, I look catch and spin as much as possible. I also take pokestop-optimized routes going to work, stores, etc.

Try to stay in 10 gyms which means a few trips out each week to battle in gyms. Maybe a couple hours a week there.

Check in on this site and TSR a couple times a day.

I've always liked walking and exploring.
Pokemon franchise has been special to me since childhood.
And now the two things combined? Why the heck not? My only concern is whether it'll be worth investing years into it, or rather, how long it would take Niantic to make it into a real Pokemon game, which absolutely requires trading and PvP. Though just PvP alone would be enough for me, because when I spend a lot of time in a multiplayer game, testing my skill against others is the ultimate purpose. Trading would just revolve around legacy movesets and shinies in my case, I can live without that.

Not too addicted, maybe only addicted to knocking down my local gym from rival teams...

I didn't play hardly any extra during this event and mostly only play casually now (on errands, out and about, etc...).

I spend more time reading GP and SR than playing I think...

Nope, not addicted at all. Just wait a moment for me to go spin that Pokestop...

I like an addiction that makes me walk. It is much better than an addiction, that makes me sit in front of my computer which i had before.

Mayby i am only very addicted, not seriously because
- until now i resisted the temptation to spend more than 10€s and
- yesterday, in the evening, i had to reclaim 6 Gyms that had been taken over the day, and i simply ignored this and went to bed.
