Bag full, what to toss?

So i'm kinda a hoarder i have 1994 out of 2000 slots full and i haven't even gone out yet today, it consists of:

84 Hyper Potions
560 Max Potions
156 Revives
311 Max Revives
I use these for beating up gyms or raid bosses, until recently I've been using 1 Revive and Super Potions along with a few normal Potions for healing, but I've abandoned the weaker potion types for space.

5 Lucky Eggs
I save these for large clusters of Pokestops I KNOW i'll be hanging around for a while.

2 Incenses
I really don't use these often, when I do it feels like they do nothing, what do you think?

1 Rare Candy
I just keep one with me and spend the rest on Pokemon i'm raising, i don't know why, sentimental value?

1 Raid Pass
You can't escape these, so I don't bother.

3 Premium Raid Passes
From Events, i'll probably spend them if i find some good raids, in a row, and i can't attack high level raids because i'm a lone player, i usually only join them if trainers nearby are already in the lobby, but we all take different routes so it's rare if we meet up.

1 EX Raid Pass
This will solve itself eventually.

2 Star Pieces
I don't know what to do with these to be honest, I rarely ever am so surrounded by a large cluster of Pokemon to make them worthwhile.

141 Great Balls
My main Ball type.

295 Ultra Balls
For stubborn Pokemon or for chucking at Legendaries and Mythicals.

12 Lure Modules
I don't think i actually use these because i rarely ever hold still while playing, so it's a definite maybe for tossing.

97 Razz Berries
73 Nanab Berries
94 Pinap Berries
108 Golden Razz Berries
21 Silver Pinap Berries
I usually keep 100 of each Berry type and let the golden and Silver ones pile up for Legendary/Mythical use, the rest are utility, highten chances, multiply candy, hOLD THE F*CK STILL.

And 5 of each evolutionary item.
So i can evolve item evolving Pokemon without issue.

What would your recommend I toss based on these notes?

It wouldn't be much of a problem if we got our next expansion, i don't know why they limit us, bro i have the coins, let me sew more pockets into this thing.

Worrying about the bag space occupied by 2 star pieces when you have hundreds of spare revives, potions, and balls seems like a...strange set of priorities.

I dunno what your area is like that would require keeping a gigantic cache of stuff like this, but personally I would dump at least 400 potions and probably half the revives. Why would you need to worry about keeping 76 nanab berries when you have 400+ balls in your inventory? Personally I usually only use them for feeding gyms, and use them all as soon as I come across a friendly gym.

The trainers in my area are very... competitive, you'd walk away from a gym and 30 minutes later it's taken, it flips constantly, i usually get around them by capturing when it gets dark out and collecting my winnings by morning, thankfully my team is dominant in the area and can hold down gyms for considerable amounts of time, I only feed berries if the gym contains one of my Pokemon personally.

As for the potions, I started stockpiling Max Potions and used the first 2 tiers exclusively, thinking that it's be better if i'd keep them, boy i was wrong, so I've added a "Attack everything" mentality around gyms in order to burn them and tossing any other Potion besides Hyper and Max.

I completely abandoned Razz and Nanab berries a while ago. The latter may be useful to hold a few for tasks like 3 excellent curves in a row, but otherwise feed the rest to gyms.

Speaking of gyms, your potion stack is disgusting. I generally run 20-40 combined max/hyper potions, and 30-50 combined revives/max revives. The more max revives, fewer potions are needed. In your spot, I'd throw out all the hyper potions and regular revives first. Then about 200 max potions as you need space again.

I have a much smaller bag (650) and yet I steady state more pinap than you...
My allocation is typically around:
60-80 potions+revives (mostly max)
10-20 silver pinap
70-80 Golden Razz
100-150 pinap
100-200 rare candy
20-30 poke/great balls
100-150 ultra balls
30-60 premium items (incubators, lucky eggs, raid passes, star pieces, TMs)

When I need to make space, I either sink rare candy into something, or cut down on potion/revives (towards as low as 30 total) and balls.

Yeah, i plan on getting rid of my potion problem soon by attacking gyms and challenging more raid bosses, if it's not fast enough, then i'll toss the Hypers.

As for the Pinap, i used the majority of my supply when Sinnoh dropped on everything i knew evolved, unfortunately, most escaped ran away, taking the snack with them, i'm slowly regaining them.

That amount of revives and potions is excessive and is the source of your inventory problems. You would have to fight gyms for 10-20 hours straight without spins to go through all of them. Do you really foresee such a situation happening? I keep at most 200 max revives and 100 max potions when I'm doing a lot of battling. EDIT: For reference, taking a gym that doesn't get razzed rarely costs more than 5 max revives. I frequently do it with 2 revives and 4 hyper potions. Forcing out a Blissey that's being berried by one defending player costs at most 20 max revives. Your reserves are enormous.

You also have a lot of berries. 30 each of razz and nanab is plenty of buffer if you like using them on wild pokemon.

Like said already, worrying about 2 Incense and 2 Star Pieces when you're holding 1k+ healing is downright silly. You wouldn't even notice the extra 4 spots in your inventory. Anyway, incense and star piece are good for events, like CDs, save them for those.

I would reduce of razz, nanab, and pinab to no more than 35 each. Convert them to stardusts. For me, those get fill up easily.

Then potions, why keep 560 max potion a when you have only 156 revives. I would keep no more 2 times the amount of potions vs revives.

Unless you average using over 400 potions and revives on a daily basis there's zero reason to keep that many. Over half of your storage space is dedicated to healing items.

Feed your berries, get the dust XP and candy rewards. Toss down to 2 of each evolutionary item; toss everything but 100 max potions and your max revive stash.

I keep my max potions and max revives around 200 each, and even that is excessive. As they drop below 200, then I hold onto more hyper potions and revives to fill the gap. As they go above 200, either fight more gyms/raids or throw them out.

I know how it’s difficult to dump max revives and max potions. At one time (different times) I kept hoarding till I went over 1k of them. Then immediately dumped 500

Now I keep some combo of 15 hyper or max potions along with 15 revives. Plus 150 max revives just in case I run into a long drought

Lose 250 Max Potions, and all the lesser ones. Some of the revives too. You have plenty of them, and will get more in gifts.

75 max potion
75 max revive

everything else, throw it away
if you have really a high turnover area with the gym, keep 100/100 or 150/150 max

you get them everywhere and if not, you get the little ones.
use them, leave 100/100 in the reserv and kick the rest
you dont need them

I throw nanab to the gym, never need it while you can lock the target, especially the legendary. Regular razz also, i just keep 20 max for the stubborn wild catch pokemon.
I keep my GRB, Silver for catching legenday and regular pinap also for legendary when i get many premium ball, and rare wild, CD, or even like gastly.
I also dont like to thow away revive and potion, it is and old habit of me when i battle a lot, not anymore but the habit stay. Currently at 300ish Max potion, 150ish, revive and 800ish max revive. I throw regular and super potion though when my bag is full.
Instead of throwing it, i use all glass cannon with battle party at legendary raid, especially if i know we surely win with like 5-6 acc vs Giratina, or try alternative counter for soloing T3 that usually failed at 1-2 attempt.
Other like starpiece, lure is precious to me. I will use it when i need it.
You dont have to throw away Lucky Egg and Incense though, just use it and catch every pokemons. Wont be a problem with your stock of ball.
I play with less stock of ball in my bag
